AOS has been a key delivery partner in Punjab's Urban LandSystems Enhancement (PULSE) initiative one of Pakistan's most significant landadministration modernisation programmes. Through large-scale parcel mapping anddigital land records projects in Hafizabad and Lodhran Districts, we havehelped lay the foundation for a modern, accurate, and accessible digital landrecords system across Punjab.
The PULSE initiative was established to address long standing challenges in Pakistan's land administration system including inaccurate records, disputes over land ownership, and the inefficiency of paper-based property documentation. AOS's contribution to PULSE centres on two core activities: GIS-based parcel mapping and the digitisation of existing land records both critical components of a functioning, modern land information system.
Our work in Hafizabad and Lodhran Districts has directly improved the quality, completeness, and accessibility of land parcel data for thousands of property owners and government institutions.
GIS-Based Parcel Mapping
Using GIS technology and remote sensing data, AOS producedaccurate digital maps of land parcels across target districts capturingboundaries, ownership zones, and spatial relationships that form the backboneof a reliable digital land record system.
Land Records Digitisation
AOS managed the scanning, indexing, and structured entry ofexisting land records converting handwritten and paper-based propertydocuments into validated, searchable digital formats suitable for integrationwith Pakistan's national land information systems.
Data Validation & Quality Assurance
Every record digitised and every parcel mapped went throughrigorous validation and quality assurance processes ensuring that theresulting digital land database meets the accuracy standards required for legaland administrative use.
